Pope John Paul II beatifies Mother Teresa - according to reports, he’s determined to see she becomes a saint in his lifetime.

I hold her memory close to my heart, to remind me that there goodness comes in small packages….she once said : “I know God would never give me more than what I could handle. I just wish he didn’t trust me so much.” But, still, her life was devoted to being the servant of the poor. When she one the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 - she said, “I’m not worthy.” According to this report - a second miracle must be confirmed by the Church before her elevation to sainthood.

Today…. I’m sad to say I didn’t go to church…..

I went on hiking trip with my hankido club. Several members went on an amazing 13.2 mile jog/walk - I joined the hikers for a 1.9 mile hike to Coast Camp at Point Reyes. Beautiful day, friendly people, better scenery than an IMAX theater. It made me happy to be alive.
