so - here’s what i did….

• upgraded to MT 2.64
• banned a few ips - but that’s typically a futlie effort - from what I’ve been reading about…..soooo……
• installed the mt blacklist plugin

so yeah - that should do it for now…..

if you’re sick of getting spam - feel free to submit all that crap over to jay allen’s comment spam clearinghouse…..

if you’re a spammer trying to get your grubby hands on my blogs - fuck off.

i checked in to my new dorm room….

the only problem is that i made a deal for a two bedroom apartment.
i was stuck in a dorm room with 6 bunk beds. 11 other people were living with me. The worst part was that these 11 students were undergrads.

i tried to settle in and relax. i couldn’t. i couldn’t go through all that drama that an undergrad goes through - living wildly - away from home. the hormones. the chaos.

so i marched myself back to the housing office. i demanded my room - the one i put a reservation deposit on. sarah was working in that office. the same sarah from rha. i cringed when she recognized me. she said she would help me because of my berkeley connection. she walked with me to my real room. she told me that if i stuck around rha - i could have made something myself. she sounded really disappointed in me.

i was relieved when i stepped into my new room. i had it all to myself - but there were two beds in it.

anybody knows what this means?
