my econ class

as to the question, posed to all students in this class:
“Why are you taking this class?”
My answer: “Because I’m doing global journalism and the program said I had to take this class.”
According to one of my professors - reporters spend 6 months on the business desk before the NY Times sends them on their global reporting gigs….
At least I’m only in this class for a quarter.
