Exploring the other side of the rainbow

blogging from Bath

Bath is about an hour and a half away from London - by train….and it’s probably one of the few places in England that isn’t too cold…..we came in on a grey day - but it was the type of weather you can walk around without gloves. Quite nice indeed.

We saw Bath Abbey - where the first King of the England was crowned - Edgar. William the Conqeror’s son had his coronation here as well. Behind Bath Abbey - you have the Roman Baths…..it looked incredible at night - dark navy blue sky and fire light. The water is still hot after all these years and I dipped my fingers in. I thought it smelled kinda funny - but it could be a psych-out….read a sign that said you shouldn’t dip your fingers and that the water was unfiltered. yeah - it’s probably my imagination.

also walked along the river avon - which flows through the town of Sailsbury - next to Stonehenge. neato.
