Several folks attended the Star Trek Convention on Sat - with hopes at winning the $50 prize. But they had to cancel the event - so the costume contest was on Sunday.

I think this Borg-dude was one of the actors who worked for the Hilton. I asked him if we could take a picture with him and he replied: “We will comply.” Then I told the Borg to assimlate Mark. “What does that mean?” he asked in his human voice. Hehehe, I think we just stumped one of the Star Trek actors. Cool. I told him to hold his arm out at Mark.

At Quark’s bar - Jedi and Klingons can co-exist…neat

Mark was impressed how the dude’s haircut matches the Star Wars characters. Some folks couldn’t leave the “force” at home for the convention.

Patrick Stewart managed to fit in a session at the Convention - in the middle of his Vancover shoot for X-Men 3. That should be an awesome film! I can’t wait…..I wonder if they got Halle Berry back for the Storm character.

And it’s always cool to see Star Trek Captains hamming it for the crowd.
