Earlier this month, we went downtown to see what’s going on for the San Dimas’ Western Days. I saw a flier for the Indian Pow Wow and got cravings for Indian Fry Bread.
The Pow Wow had cool booths with handmade jewelry and art pieces. These are dream catchers. They’re suppose to catch your good dreams and let the bad ones fall threw the holes.

They had a couple of drumming circles from different tribal groups.

We found a booth that sold Indian Fry Bread. This is an Indian Taco - ground beef, salsa, beans, shredded lettuce and cheese piled ontop of the fry bread. I love it. The bread is hearty and a little sweet. Combined with the taco goodies on top, it’s a tasty meal.

They also had a dance category for little tribal members. The little girl danced her heart out while the boy behind her didn’t know what to do. He seemed rooted in place.
