The next day, we took a cab to Zihuatanejo. It used to be a sleepy fishermen’s town. But it’s proximity to the resort town of Ixtapa made it’s population explode.

We did lunch away from the water. The beach side restaurants had too many aggressive waiters - eager to show off their menu and cut us a deal. Kinda like the hosts from North Beach. It’s a bit a of a turn off.
