Before sunrise…Daisy and I have our one-on-one time. She does “good potty” and then I make coffee.
Before sunrise, I finish praying and doing yoga. That daily routine has kept me healthy and sane in Chicago and I believe it’s doing the same for me in Kansas.
Before sunrise…I finish reading the local paper and catch-up on CNN Headline News. Why CNN and not, say something more “fair and balanced?”

Before sunrise, I finish devouring other sources of news tv and print websites, wire reports and stuff like that. I try to catch up on my blog reading…when I can.
Before sunrise, I have the entire newsroom to myself. I can hear myself think.
It’s a beautiful time in the morning.
