I’m at the age when I have to worry about these things. According to my mom, grey hair plagues the women in our family at a young age….and I figure 27-going-on-28 is young for old looking hair. So, yesterday, I used a little bit of our tax refund and splured on a new do’. It feels fab in the hot weather. This week - it got up to 90+ degrees in Topeka (and our air conditioner isn’t working 
).
I picked Salon 808 for my new do’ after I saw Dana’s piece for my morning show. My new do - plus eyebrow waxing and products - ended up being less than what I paid in Berkeley three years ago for my first professional coloring job. Wow. Back then - all I did was get coloring and a hair cut. I got more bang for my buck in Topeka at Salon 808. I love the cost of living in the Sunflower State.
And on to some new things on my blogs…
- I have a new podcast. We’ll see how long that lasts…
- I also created a platial map for our European adventure. I think I’ll make another map for our cross-country road trips. I love that you can publish maps to blogs - and you can incorporate the zooming functions and the satellite views from google maps - into your blogs. Platial and the Google API rock my world!
