A beautiful story…
Work left a bad taste in my mouth…I think that’s all I can say about that.
On the drive home…I listened to this beautiful story about a Filipino woman who wanted to study in America.

Look what Mark found! He stumbled on it when he took Daisy out to do her business. Such a lucky guy! Or…lucky dog?
And here’s Daisy’s new hair style…She talks more about her new summer style in her latest blog entry
Our family got hair cuts yesterday. I took Mark to my favorite salon for some hair pampering. We both loved our scalp massages. Besides I was looking hippie-ish with my shaggy hair.
Daisy got a summer shave. She’s now short-haired like my Tita Sylvia’s dogs, Jack and Jill. This should help her cope with the much hyped-Kansas weather: hot and humid temps. She should be OK - she’s a Topeka native afterall.
I feel small.
I want to climb under the covers, curl up into a ball and disappear. Still, my puppy would probably sniff me out and start nibbling on the sheet edges.
Tomorrow is another day…another chance to prove myself.
I’m tired. Intense show…not enough information…and it looked smooth. It didn’t look like we had tech problems. I suppose that’s the most important thing.
So tired…and I’m due back at work in thirty minutes. I will have my cocktail after this bit.
Such is life.
We had another crazy show the other day…complete with mistaken identities and no audio. Yeah, I was totally in the mood for a cocktail that morning.
And my baby has a new heroine…after watching E!.
This morning…we went to Bark Park with Daisy. I dug for acorns with a little girl. Daisy did her best to behave and be social with the other dogs…a lab named Maggie kept splashing her feet in the communal water bowls. She likes to swim and since it was something like 85 degrees outside, Maggie was in the mood for water splashing.
Daisy found a purple teddy bear she wanted to destroy.
I had a tasty vanilla latte made with skim milk.
A good weekend so far.
