Another long weekend in the Bay Area

This is the view from Julius Castle, next to Coit Tower. We celebrated
Tom’s 30th Birthday on Saturday night. An amazing meal and some yummy
wine.
I just got back from the Bay Area on Sunday. Good food, great friends,
a birthday party and a cute baby.
I didn’t want to leave….I felt a yoke being placed back on my neck
when the plane landed at Kansas City International. I have a great
job…but I just didn’t want to go back to my home without Mark. He’s
spending the next two weeks working at Berkeley. Thank heavens I have
Daisy to put a smile on my face. Crazy dog.
Off to work.
