My Daisy was trying to be a good host….waiting for us to finish playing Chinese Checkers with our friends. We were up past 2 AM – moving the pastel-colored marbles to the other side of the board.

I have a lovely three-day weekend ahead of me. I’m helping my best friend tie the knot in San Francisco.

So…I have some time to show some lovin’ for Photo Friday.

The topic: “Fast Food.”
I have a healthy/gourmet twist to that theme with this BBQ Buffalo Burger. It’s from Burger Me in Truckee. It has this amazing hearty flavor and it’s all lean meat. The tangy BBQ sauce also hit all the right spots for me.

Memories of warmer weather in my home state. I snapped this shot the day after we took Jennie out to fly over Torrey Pines. Good times.

This is my entry for today’s challenge on Photo Friday:Textured.
This italian dessert is served up in a huge white bowl. It was like dipping into a tasty bowl of cereal. I could totally do tiramisu for breakfast. Good times!

This is the end of a fall day in Holton, Kansas.

It’s been a few years since I’ve submitted anything to a photo theme challenge…I’d like to get back into that habit. At least for today’s Photo Friday – I know all about accidental moments.

This is my submission for Photo Friday’s theme: Warmth. I took this picture last month at the Renaissance Bistro in Brea. I had the gorgonzola fondue crostini. It’s served with toasted ciabatta. It’s yummy.

I’m pretty sure my husband looks obvious in this outfit from the LA County Fair. Maybe even unsual-looking.
