Mark, Daisy and I waited for the space shuttle Discovery to fly over Topeka about 15 minutes ago.

We had so much fun at the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchison. Amazing exhibits plus I thought it was wicked cool to be up-close-and-personal with stuff that’s been in space. Mark is the Bay Area and I’m about to follow in his footsteps.

The whole family tuned in for this morning’s launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
We watched NASA TV on CSPAN. Sure it’s nice to get the bios and the commentary from CNN and MSNBC…but watching the launch preps and listening to Mission Control, without media extras, made it a more satisfying experience.
