Today, Luciano Pavarotti died.
As I was driving around, I had it tuned to 580 News and then I heard this wonderfully haunting song, “Nessun Dorma.” It’s an aria from the final act of Puccini’s opera Turandot and the 3 Tenors made it immortal.
The opera world has lost one of it’s greatest stars today.

Winter Wonderland

Kansas was hit with more snow this week. It was something like 4-degrees when I went into work on Thursday night. That was a heat wave compared to other parts of the state. During the 10:00 News, our weather dude said it was 14-degrees in Concordia.

last night…we took Susan and Tom to Cote Sud…..
we loved it

it relaxes me….i tried making a mint julep with diet lemon lime soda (yeah, some knock off on sprite, I’m sure). didn’t like it too much.
so….for my mint julep…..i did:

jim bean’s
water
