i was about to pop-in my yoga video when Mark told me to turn on CNN. it was horrible. blue skies and a streak of fire…several flaming pieces over Texas….
and disheartening to hear news anchors, NASA reps, and President Bush announcing that the space shuttle Columbia is loss.
no hope of recovery for those 7 souls.
i was 7 years old when I saw Challenger blow up…..I was sitting the classroom and my teacher was hyping up that historic launch. I remember a teacher was one of the astronauts and we were looking forward to all the cool stuff she would be transmitting back to students.
it didn’t look real to me. i couldn’t believe it. i didn’t understand the sudden loss of life. of death. of the American tragedy.
