MSNBC – Green light for gay marriages in Massachusetts
“Massachusetts highest court declared Wednesday that gay couples were entitled to nothing less than full marriages and that Vermont-style civil unions would not suffice, setting the stage for the nation’s first legally sanctioned same-sex weddings by the spring.”
this should be interesting…..
I also watched the 100th episode of Angel, tonight. For all it’s campy dialogue and situations, it touched my heart. Angel felt like he didn’t have what it took to be a hero and he was about to quit his CEO position with Wolfram and Hart. Cordelia woke up and somehow pumped faith back into Angel. There was a point towards the end of the episode where he tells her that he really thinks he can do this now – keep fighting the bad guys and protecting the rest of humanity.
Ok – journalism doesn’t reach those heights – but I I could feel the same doubt in my ablities as a writer and a reporter…..all those bad grades – I started second guessing myself. I started wondering if I should head back to my tech job in Sunny Cali. Today was good for me – working on my beats and finding some interesting stories. I headed out to Rogers Park and Ravenswood to check out a church and the Jose Rizal Heritage Center. I meant some nice people. I might be taking a tagalog class week…..but that’s what I get for listening to someone who looks like one of my tita’s…….apparently, I remind her of her niece.
