betina invited us over to her house last night for an “end-of-the-year” shindig with teachers and more teachers….
she has a beautiful home in oakland….sigh…another college buddy who can buy a house – while I push myself into a few more thousands-of-dollars into debt 😛
she made a lovely salad…we brought over red wine…we/I finished the bottle and Hans manned the brand-spanking-new grill…..it was its virgin run 🙂
after meat and more meat (marinated in soy sauce and some jerk chicken….we settled down in front of the PS2 for Karaoke Revolution….that I can do 🙂

we followed that up with some Dance Dance Revolution – that I can’t do and failed miserably trying…..Betina looked awesome on the dance pad….it’s a hell of a workout.

okay — saw the picture of forsythia! sorry, it has nothign to do with the content of the post — you may be in Chicago, with your chilly winters…but you get to witness the blooming of forsythia! beautiful.
