Just updated my wish list on Amazon….it’s easier to check here rather than ask me…..if asked, I’d feel obligated to give some Christian answer….something like… “Goodwill and peace to all humankind…..get Bush impeached…..end the war in Iraq…..” that sort of thing. Well….I couldn’t post two of my most wanted things for Xmas: the final season of Sex and the City on DVD…..and a plane ticket to San Francisco……Mark needs to head up to the Bay Area right after we touch down in LA – for work….I want to spend a few days with family before heading up…..I suspect I’ll have enough for a ticket when I get my deposit back…however, my supervisor said that some rental agencies tend to not give back the money….I told him I would have to go over to the rental agency and kick his teeth in…..so, that scared me for a bit….on that day…i know this sounds un-patriotic, but I hope it’s a weak day for the dollar…than I can double money on the dollar-to-pound exchange when I get my deposite wired back into my bank account. Wouldn’t that be cool? Yah? Yah!
Only a few weeks left in London. I wake-up before sunrise to read over headlines and catch-up on blogs….I found out my buddy got accepted to Northgate’s J-School at Berkeley….sheesh….he already started his semester…well, I suppose it serves me right – since I didn’t update his RSS feed on my portal site.
Still…I have e-mails to catch up on and I’m also trying to get more mailing addresses for more postcards to send out. I’m quite amazed by my obsessive tendency to send out several dozen postcards ever few weeks. Somehow, they’re easier to write than e-mails. I’d like to think people are tickled by getting them in the mail. I’ve heard back from a few folks and that warms my heart. It’s also the most affordable souvenier I can send back to family and friends….We’re going to have a mess load of bags to get through customs….and I already have a few heavy presents from Florence….sigh. I’ll figure this out. We’ll have to mail some stuff back.
Ray bought Buffy the Vampire Slayer – The Complete Seventh Season for himself this weekend. I even told him that was unfair because you wanted it. He laughed, and said no that he was buying it for himself. HOW SELFISH!!! LOL
