Bath is about an hour and a half away from London – by train….and it’s probably one of the few places in England that isn’t too cold…..we came in on a grey day – but it was the type of weather you can walk around without gloves. Quite nice indeed.
We saw Bath Abbey – where the first King of the England was crowned – Edgar. William the Conqeror’s son had his coronation here as well. Behind Bath Abbey – you have the Roman Baths…..it looked incredible at night – dark navy blue sky and fire light. The water is still hot after all these years and I dipped my fingers in. I thought it smelled kinda funny – but it could be a psych-out….read a sign that said you shouldn’t dip your fingers and that the water was unfiltered. yeah – it’s probably my imagination.
also walked along the river avon – which flows through the town of Sailsbury – next to Stonehenge. neato.
