A picture from when we were younger and when things were not as complicated.
Now we’re all grown up. David’s in Kuwait and he reports his unit will be moving to Iraq soon. My family prays for him. I pray that he’ll be able to get some rest – to get some sweet dreams. My husband and I were thrilled David could make it to the wedding. His high school buddies drove him to the church. I remember taking his uniform to the dry cleaners, earlier that week.
More smiles for the camera. A sweet moment with Jennie and David – thankfully in the shade.
I also got to dance with David at the reception. This was after I was in tears about a stupid comment. Outside the reception hall – David said he loved me. That was all I needed to hear. All the other distractions and cruel words didn’t matter. People could curse at me until the end of the world….but as long as I have the love of my family, that’s all that matters.
Beautiful!!!
