at least for a while.
Maybe I can hook up with a college radio station in Kansas if I have some free time from work….We’ll see.
My shift is from 8-10 AM – today. According to sigalert.com, the traffic on the 10 East freeway is flowing around 70-80 mph. That’s a good thing.
Mark’s still asleep. It’s still dark outside. I turned on the hallway light and groped for my clothing in the closet. It felt like I was back in my Berkeley dorm room during my Junior year. Back then, I had the 6:00 AM news shift. Memories.
Yesterday, a toliet attacked me at I-Hop. My dad met me there for breakfast after his doctor’s appointment. Inside the ladies room, a mother and her two kids used the disabled people’s stall.
“Honey, are you finished?” the mom asked.
“Look what I made!”
“OK – don’t touch it honey,” she replied.
Then somebody flushed – either from the disabled stall or the men’s room.
I had just finished doing my business and I was zipping up my pants. After the flush outside of my stall – my toliet started overflowing. This was before I got a chance to flush. I squealed. The icky stuff came after my cute heels from Vegas. And the stall door opened inward. Grrrr. Thankfully, I was able to hold my breath and squeeze out of the dirty stall, without stepping backwards into the guck. Gross.
I told the manager what happened. I told my dad what happened and succeeded in grossing out the mother and daughter sitting next to us. Bizarre.
