Well…our web editor at work wanted a picture of producers – in action. I’m a paranoid human being – and I figured snapping a picture of me “in action” would be super distracting. So I had this shot snapped before my morning show.
It’s the control room – the nerve center for my morning news show.
The headphones keep me connected to the show director, floor director and master control. I use another mic to stay in touch with the on-air folks. The monitors to my right show the videos cued up for stories. The little monitors behind me show what’s going over the air and what’s being broadcasted on ABC satellites.
This is me at my dream job – for better or worse…This is me before stressing out for the morning…This is where I want to be.
