Cody’s on Telegraph will close on July 10, 2006. It’s been at that location for 43 years….and it was one of my favorite bookstores in Berkeley.
A damn shame.
I found several books for Cal classes at Cody’s. They were great about calling in orders for those tough to find volumes. I loved getting lost in the stacks. From movies, to Asian-American issues – I could go in all sorts of directions…I even found a collection of fan books for the Star Trek universe.
It was a great place to pull up some floor and catch-up on my favorite authors.
A damn shame.
