back when I was in college – this would not have been a problem for me. at 24 years old – it’s a little noticble.
i had to be at work today by 7:30 AM – I didn’t get home till 2 AM. you do the math….it all adds up to a cranky little monarch doing what she can to get by….
even so, i saw a beautiful sunrise this morning. it had a lovely pink and purple hue and it was soothing to my weary soul.
wow….what a day – Sunday was nuts for me.
the raiders lost the superbowl. argh. i checked out the came at a Yuppie bar in SF – apparently there were more Tampa Bay fans in the room. By half-time, we were starved for food and we didn’t want to pay the yuppie $10 for the Superbowl buffet. so, we trekked over to an Irish pub to watch Oakland screw up the rest of the game. we left by 4th quarter and we missed Tampa rubbing it in their faces with another touchdown.
funny thing, i don’t even like watching football – it was just a neat Bay Area pride bit to be a part of….at last glance, we didn’t have any fans rioting….and i needed a new pair of shoes.
i also had a meeting at the radio station i volunteer at:
and I had a midnight Shortwave shift. our electronic grooves included DNA djs’ Amber, Reid, and Miranda – hyping up their Thursday evening club night: Code
Despite my tipsy self – i managed to pull my wits together and we had a great time spinning jungle, drum and bass, and other bumpin’ music. plus we had a lot of love from our callers – all who enjoyed the mix and the studio company.
and i had to drag my ass to work this morning…oy vey! what a morning….busy with students, computers, and professors forgetting their nt passwords….“i’m typing it in correctly, really!”
uh, sure. whatever you say.
