sitting inside kava kava kava (that’s czech for: coffee coffee coffee)…..catching up on e-mail, news and AIM. sipping a ‘stradi’ latte….the foam is so thick on this latte – you can pour sugar on top and wait a few minutes before it sinks into the espresso.
it looks like it doesn’t matter what country I wake-up in…from France – Italy – Czech Republic – my bladder get’s full at 6:25 AM – local time….and then I’m out of bed by 6:30 AM – local time. Maybe I won’t be able to sleep in….ever. That’s a sad thought.
It’s snowing….the snow is sticking to the rough tops and making the streets slushy….but it’s not as cold as Chicago – Thank God! So – that makes walking around in a snowy Prague – bearable.
speaking of bears…Louie met someone 🙂
The midwest winter has taught me well – layer whenever possible….I’m wearing stockings on my jeans and opted for my sensible doc martins over anything to frilly for footwear. I have a cap and gloves…wearing a turtleneck. Also have a nice big pashima shawl to wrap up my upper body and face. So – I can walk in the cold.
well….the Old Town part of Prague and these neat Xmas decorations….but they seemed to be out of place….as if they were out of season – now the Xmas trimmings – lights and trees and stuff like that – seem to belong with the snowfall. …
hopefully it doesn’t get any colder.
