The SF Examiner reported on this boy’s attempt to escape from Alcatraz. CNN just showed footage of fourth grader Johnny Wilson making it it to shore. Wow. Most inmates couldn’t do it. CNN showed some of the boy’s progress as part of it’s teaser. A few minutes later, they showed him swimming up to shore where media, friends and family cheered him on.
Wilson raised $30,000 in pledges and he’s donating it to Hurrican Katrina relief efforts. Wow. That water must be freezing.
