So my bubble butt ends up on the morning news this week. We had live reports on Topeka’s new skating club and Learn to Skate program on Good Morning Kansas.
We helped our morning reporter skate. And then our meteorologist said he wanted to see me do a “360.” Our web producer said it must be nice to be able to pull something like this out of my back pocket. I agreed.

The head skate instructor said our 5:00 AM ice time felt like we were teenagers competing all over again. I could almost hear my coach yelling for me to do two laps around the rink after my program. And to do my program again.
Last weekend, I managed to land a double toe after several hard falls. I’m happy Sacramento and several Nor Cal towns have skating rinks.
Who knows? Maybe I can teach in my spare time. Maybe I can compete in some adult competitions if I can land all my jumps.
In any event, I’m happy to be back on the ice.
Just thinking….what’s the possibility of you and your hubby ice dancing!
