Annoyed with waiting 30 minutes for this bruschetta sandwich. The rissotto was heavy on the butter. The homemade bread tasted like something from the store. This lunch was not worth the wait.

I’ve eaten at Mama’s Meatball many, many times. Each time, the food’s been delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. Maybe you hit them on a bad day? Anyway, try giving them another chance. I’ve always been impressed, especially because all other Italian places in SLO are so darn expensive!
A bad day for who? I also didn’t mention (because I didn’t have room on the cellphone entry) that the server promptly brought out dishes for other customers who came in after us. Our food was so late that we ran out of time on our parking meter. As my hubby was taking care of parking, our dishes were served. Then the food went lukewarm as I waited for him to come back. On top of that, we were the only table who did not get a serving of garlic bread on the side. Overall, it felt like our table was sacrificed good service for the sake of taking care of other customers.
