I tried to power thru my cold with a hike at Cabrillo National Monument.
We got lucky with the weather yesterday. Storms clouded rolled in after our Point Loma visit.
The leftovers from Hurricane Dolores transformed San Diego into Water World. iPhones and televisions buzzed with flash flood warnings. Cars swam in flooded streets in Ramona. I watched a new pool grow in our backyard.
I’m blaming the rain on this lingering cold.
Before the rain, I savored stunning views of San Diego and the bay. I think you could see the tips of Baja California coast and Mexico, if you squinted.
I was starving after our hike up and down the Bayside trail.
