what would you do?
- The pregnancy has been confirmed, but you’re both single and in school. You’re not ready to become parents. Do you arrange an abortion?
- You’re playing badminton with a very competitive person. You discover s/he has a disability, a blind spot. Do you take advantage?
- the middle of your evaluation, your boss is called away. Your personnel file is left open. Do you glance at it?
No – I firmly believe that at the point of conception, a child is born. An abortion would kill that human being. Being female, I know this is a ballsy position to take – however, I’ve faced those scary points, when I thought I missed a pill, the condom broke, something like that. I reviewed my options. I knew I could let myself go through the nine months it would take to protect this baby. I knew there are alternative family options out there – good parents who would want to take care of my possible baby. I had faith in that. If I had to go through that decision making process again, I would do it.
Probably – I like to win.
Yeah, I would. I think it would be in my best interest to know exactly how my company is writing me up – for better or worse. It gives me some ammunition, going into the evaluation.
