I came home to a Surfer girl on Halloween night. Mark said we didn’t have any trick-or-treaters drop by. I guess they may have been frightened off by “Old Man Phillips” and his crazy dog.

29 more days.
We have another meeting with a mover and Mark faxed-off our moving estimates to my new station. I’m trying to dub my VHS tapes to DVD. I’m working on a beat report of Sacramento. I’m also trying convince the puppy that it’s a good idea to move back to my home state.
Her concerns: Food. Bark Park. Cocker Spaniels. And pee spot. Food.
We have our own checklist of things we can’t miss in Kansas. Mark’s boss went to KU and he wants us to try out his favorite BBQ joint in Willamsburg. We also want to check out a Roadrunners game at the Expocentre.
Fall is beautiful time of year in this state. Earlier this week, the puppy and I jogged down Shunga Trail and watched autumn leaves float down to the ground. I enjoy the blend of the brisk fall winds and the mild sunshine.
Perfect weather when I feel like a lame duck wading in limbo.
